Who were The Goons?

The Goons was an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1988.

The group's musical style primarily consists of rock and grunge music,

as well as influences from psychedelic rock. When played live, they music becomes

elements of a jam band due to the improvised nature of their performance as well

as their outrageous costumes, thus embracing their names as "The Goons".

However, The Goons were only able play at a handful of venues

before mysteriously disappearing. The band consists of lead singer Matt Jones,

lead guitarist Roger James, bassist Johnny Connor and Drummer Jeff Fish.

To this day, The Goon's are still missing, what resulted in their dissaperance

was a local attraction, transforming thier share house into a little museum.

The following items are the clues left behind in their house.

"The Cursed Pick"

Originally belonging to the bassist Roger James, it was passed

to lead guitarist ,Johnny Connor days before his dissaperance.

The pick Still containing fingerprints of the two members.

Conspiracists say the pick is cursed and caused the disapperance.

"Jeff Fish's Ring"

It is actually unknown if the ring acutally belonged to Jeff Fish as

friends, family and friends cannot recognise the ring.

However, the fingerprints along the rings suggests it belongs to Fish

"The Left Shoe of Jeff Fisher"

Found outside Jeff Fisher's home in his backyard tennis courts, his left shoe mysteriously ended on the tennis courts while the right shoe is is found untouched in his home. Out of all his possession, his left shoe was the only object has been moved, everything else was in place.

Matt Jone's Glasses

Found in Matt Jone's aparment, these glasses contained hair and blood samples of Jones.

The glasses has become a conclusive evidence that Matt Jone's was taken against his will.

However, not enough evidence pointed to any leads.

and Matt Jone's Pooh Bear

Found next to the glasses, The "Pooh bear" toy was also found along with the glasses. The "Pooh bear" is a toy belongs to Jones who carries it everywhere he goes including to shows and outings. The blood splatter found on "Pooh bear" was also to be confirmed to belong to Jones.

Roger James's Guitar

Also found in Matt Jones apartment was the guitar beloning to Roger James. It is unknown how the guitar ended up in Matt Jones' apartment. Whats more concerning is the blood on the guitar. After DNA testing, it was confirmed to belong to Matt Jones.

Johnny Connor's Phone

The phone was confirmed to belong to Connor's by the police becuase of the photo's and phone number. However all call histroy and text has been erased and uncoverable. However one thing to note was that amongst all his contacts, there were two unkown numbers which none of his friends and family recognised.

Battle of the Band's Award

Found the in band's Trophy Room, this award was the only award the group has ahcieved as a whole. To the group, this award was their first milestone to success. After police inspection, there was traces of fingerprints which had not belonged to any of the group members.
